MFOP: Parsifalby ~Divadlo

This is the seventh piece of the "Mutual Friendly Opera Project" [MFOP] , a friendly project of Opera characters I'm making with Mr. *saturninus

This is Parsifal is an opera, or music drama, in three acts by Richard Wagner. It is loosely based on the medieval (13th century) epic poem of the Arthurian knight and his quest for the Holy Grail.

Here’s some excerpts from what I understood of the Plot: (is it just me..or…?)

“On hearing Amfortas' cry, Parsifal appears to suffer with him, clutching at his heart. The Knights and Titurel urge Amfortas to reveal the “Grail”, which he finally does.! “

" A lengthy kiss with Kundry ensues, but Parsifal recoils in pain and cries out for Amfortas: Parsifal feels Amfortas' wound burning in his own side,…Filled with this compassion for Amfortas, Parsifal rejects Kundry”

“arsifal arrives and says that only one weapon can perform this task …he heals Amfortas’ wound and forgives him.

i loved parsifal. my favourite opera. did you ever think of making scenography and directing? i suspect this kind of opera direction would be a major success.

Yes I have worked in scenography sometimes, not anything of my own but with a famous scenographer here in Mexico (Alejandro Luna) but I would definetly would like to do it some day by myself. Hopefully
